FOX13 has learned the family inside the home at 47 West Geeter near Horn Lake did get out safely. The first homicide of 2015 happened on Jan. 7, when Todd Jones was shot and killed in Southeast Memphis. His killing remains unsolved. MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Two Memphis firefighters have been treated after battling a blaze at an apartment complex. The Memphis Fire Department says in a news release that the firefighters were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries Saturday.
